JioFiber may not have received the expected audience response but the company is still the top-most competitor for the companies providing broadband services in the country. While many leading names like BSNL and Airtel are leaving no stone unturned to match Jio, a broadband service providing company Netplus is offering the exact priced plans as Jio but it beat Jio in regard to the FUP limit. Currently operating in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu circles, Netplus broadband offers almost double FUP limit than what Jio offers at the same prices. Netplus Broadband has launched Triple play plans along with IPTV service.
According to a TelecomTalk report, Netplus Broadband offers Double data plans starting at Rs 699. If we compare this plan to JioFiber’s Rs 699 plan, we find that the data benefit is more in Netplus. It offers 100 Mbps speeds and 300GB of FUP limit every month as opposed to JioFiber which offers 100GB of FUP limit with 50GB extra which is chargeable and 100Mbps speeds.
Just like the JioFiber, Netplus Broadband also offers six broadband plans priced at Rs 699, Rs 849, Rs 1,299, Rs 2,499, Rs 3,999 and Rs 8,499 respectively. The base plan of Rs 699 offers 100 Mbps speeds and 300GB of FUP limit every month. Next on the list is Rs 849 broadband plan which also offers 100 Mbps speeds but the FUP limit is whopping 800GB. The speed throttles to 10Mbps after the FUP limit is exhausted in both of these plans.
The Netplus broadband plan at Rs 1,299 offers 250Mbps speeds and FUP limit is 1500GB. The plan allows you to continue data usage at a throttled speed of 25Mbps after the limit is reached. JioFiber’s Rs 1,299 plan offers 500Mbps speeds with FUP limit of 3000GB and speed throttles to 50Mbps after the exhaustion of monthly FUP limit.
The Netplus broadband at Rs 3,999 comes with a FUP limit of 5TB and the throttled speed of 100Mbps. The Rs 8,499 broadband plan from Netplus offers 10TB of FUP every month. Jio may be better in terms of area access, but the Netplus’ plans sound more economical as they offer greater FUP limit at the same prices. JioFiber plan at Rs 3,999 1Gbps speed and 2500GB FUP limit which is very less compared to what Netplus is offering. Same for the JioFiber Rs 8,499 plan wherein subscriber gets 5000GB FUP limit only.
