Tired of call drops? Here’s how you can report it to TRAI in real time

Network issue is not a new thing in our country. On average, every user face call drop issue at least twice a day. At times, frequent call drops can be frustrating with no option left to report them. Thankfully TRAI or Telecom Regulation Authority of India has launched several apps to report several issues related to calls, cable TV, etc. One of them is TRAI MyCall app which as per the description is crowd-sourced call quality monitoring app. The app allows users to rate their voice call quality directly to TRAI in real-time. The app is available on both Android and iOS platforms.

The app also comes with transparent TSP data policy and users can also report several issues such as background noise, audio delay reports, etc to TRAI using the app.

Pre-requisites:

  • Working internet connectivity
  • Latest version of MyCall app

Steps to follow:

1.

Head to Google Play Store, search for TRAI MyCall app and download it

2.

iPhone users can head to Apple App Store to download the app.

3.

Once downloaded, open the app and allow all the necessary permissions such as contacts, call history, messages, location, etc

4.

Now, make a call or wait for someone to call you

5.

Once the call gets disconnected, a popup window will appear asking to rate the call

6.

Here, rate as per the experience and also select the environment you are in

7.

In case you have faced a call drop issue, tap on ‘Call Dropped’ button

8.

After this, tap on ‘Additional info’ button to report noise, echo, audio delay etc

9.

Hit the ‘Submit’ button
