BSNL Rs 1,999 plans to offer 2GB of daily data, unlimited calls for 365 days
Public telecommunications operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has now launched a 365-day long-term plan priced at Rs 1 999. The new plan offers 2 GB of 3G mobile data per day with calls unlimited voice and 100 SMS per day for one year. This means that the average cost per month of this plan falls to Rs 167. The new BSNL plan is not available in the circles of Delhi and Mumbai. At present, it is only available in the telecom circles of Chennai and Tamil Nadu and is expected to be released in other regions soon.
Renewal of the plan Rs 999?
At the beginning of February, BSNL had launched a similar plan with a validity of 365 at the price of Rs 999. This plan offered unlimited internet access for the entire validity period, however, the benefit of call is only for the half of this period (181 days). In addition, the unlimited data also has a ceiling of 1 GB per day, after which the speed has been reduced to 40kbps.
BSNL recently presented its ‘Special Data FIFA World Cup STV 149’ to face Reliance Jio. Speaking of the BSNL plan, the STV 149 is available in all telecommunication circles of the country. It offers 4GB of 3G mobile data per day during the FIFA World Cup (until July 15th). However, the BSNL STV 149 does not include any voice or SMS benefits. On the other hand, Reliance Jio proposes to double the daily data limit of 1.5 GB per day to 3 GB for its Rs 149 recharge plan. In addition, subscribers have the right to receive free voice services, SMS and access to Jio Apps for a period of 28 days. Note that Reliance Jio’s plan is for a limited time and will be available until June 30th.
