Google to prepare 8,000 Indian writers on fact checking


Google India on Tuesday said that it will prepare 8,000 Indian writers on fact checking. Google will prepare the journalists in English and 6 other Indian dialects in the following multi year.

Google News Initiative India Training Network will choose 200 writers from various parts of India. These journalists will enhance their aptitudes amid a 5-day “train-the-trainer” training camps sorted out by Google.

These affirmed mentors will additionally prepare more journalists at 2-day, 1-day and half-day workshops composed by Google.

The workshops will be directed in English, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi and Kannada.
